Hello!
Thank you for visiting Active Women Australia. I created this website becasue I was a little weary of the women's fitness and health magazines available. Certainly there are a couple of great sport specific mags available, but I was a bit over reading articles about how I could lose five kilos in five days or eat tomatoes six times a day and reduce my cellulite (ok, I just made that one up, but you get the idea!). I wanted to read REAL stories about REAL women doing REAL activities. I wanted REAL tips and I wanted to know more about activities that didn't involve doing squats at the gym. I couldn't find it so I decided to create it!
My name is Dianna. I live in Toowong, Queensland, Australia. I don't have any pets but I have 3 bicycles (a Merida road bike (full Ultegra SL), a Merida Dual Suspension mountain bike and a bright pink Fuji Absolute 3.0 flat bar road bike). I also enjoy running and the occasional triathlon. I currently coach water polo and also have a cycling coach qualification.
My hope is that this website inspires and empowers women to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
