I thought it would be nice to write a short article about one of the Active Women Australia sponsors - Secret Vines, seeming as it has been so kind as to support AWA!
I briefly went to uni with Tim Althaus, the owner of Secret Vines. We were both first year students fluffing around in a science degree figuring out what we really wanted to do (seems 10 years later, I'm still trying to work that one out!). Even though it was a while a go, I do remember that our study sessions generally turned into drinking sessions - wasting precious study time arguing about the lyrics to The Police's 'Fields of Gold' (as if it was Fields of Vali). After that first year we all went on to different study paths. As it turns out, Tim must have applied his science/commerce degree towards a wine retail business - now why didn't I think of that?!
